Susan Luna, LPCC, CCTP is a Licensed Counselor in the State of New Mexico. Professional Certifications are Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, 1st Responder Intervention Specialist. Bachelor of Arts in Psychology graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2002, Master of Arts in Education, Focus At-Risk Youth: Self-Designed Specialization in Psychoeducation in 2003.

Susan has taught as an Adjunct Professor teaching undergraduate psychology courses, taught seminars on professionalism and ethics and has taught 1st Responder Level I courses. Susan is part of the clinical staff for Allied for First Responders and Odyssey Counseling. She has been in the field for over 15 years and has an extensive background in trauma, domestic violence, substance abuse, grief and loss, and mental health disorders.

Susan uses a variety of therapy modalities to include CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, psychoeducation, mindfulness and body awareness, guided imagery and meditation, bilateral body work.

Susan enjoys being outdoors daily, gardening, taking walks, making bead jewelry, various arts and crafts, music, having pets and family time. She lives with an emphasis on her own personal self-care to include spiritual meditation, yoga, reading.
