Andrea Taylor, LMHC

Clinical Staff

Andie Taylor, LMHC would be honored to be a part of your healing journey. All too often, the pains of our pasts hinder current relationships, thoughts and self- esteem. Andie believes that in order to move forward and heal, we must fix the foundational wound or crack that existed long before the symptoms of anything currently going on. In order to heal, we must face the hardest parts of self. Andie is here with you on your journey of self exploration and healing. Therapy is hard and you are brave for taking the first step.

Andie joined the Odyssey Counseling and Allies For First Responders Teams in 2020. She is a graduate of Capella University with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology with a Masters in Forensic Psychology. Prior to becoming a mental health counselor, she proudly served for 20 years as a law enforcement officer achieving the rank of Captain and serving in all facets of the job. Andie has experience treating trauma created by the mere duties of being a first responder.

Andie enjoys working with ages 12-99, couples, families and individuals. She is an EMDR practitioner and uses a variety of therapeutic modalities in sessions.

In addition to talk therapy, Andie is also being trained as a holistic practitioner. She finds that the best treatment for trauma, depression, anxiety and a myriad of other issues can be a mix of talk therapy and holistic healing modalities. Andie believes the more tools in a counselors "tool box" the better. She is passionate about healing the mind, body, and soul in order to return her clients to their optimal enjoyment of life.
