Celia Mansfield, LMSW

Clinical Staff

Celia Mansfield, LMSW picture Welcome! My name is Celia and I am a native New Mexican and clinical social worker. I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University in 2014.

In addition to talk therapy, I am a holistic practitioner, herbalist, and mystic.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and families in the home, school and office setting. I also have great passion and experience working with pregnant/postpartum wombman, the unhoused, and groups. I am a sandtray and art therapist for all ages. And am now taking adult clients too!

The mind, body and soul are united. Unfortunately, western medicine is constrained by the belief that the mind, body and soul are separate entities and rarely incorporate treatment for all at the same time. Indigenous cultures, on the other hand, have fully understood and honored the connections for thousands of years. I know firsthand, the limits of the traditional model of mental health care and strive to transcend and transform this in my clinical work.

My therapeutic approach is vast and varied, as are human beings! And so, I tailor therapy sessions and interventions to meet each individual client where they are at. Some of these include neuroscience, metaphysics, herbalism, play therapy, journaling, storytelling, CBT, trauma work, art, movement, nature, community service, ancestral/generational healing, education and nutrition!

Everyone- including therapists and clients- is destined to experience not only the exhilaration of life, but also its inevitable darkness. I am proud of you for taking this step towards health and wholeness. I am honored to walk with you on this sacred journey and see myself as your fellow traveler. We are all in this together! Now time to do the work!

Many Blessings.
