Carla Williams, LMHC Carla was born and raised in Albuquerque attending Manzano High School. She is a lieutenant in Albuquerque Fire Rescue and has been in Albuquerque Fire Rescue for 24 years. She worked in one of the busiest parts of Albuquerque, what is now known as the International District, for over 10 years as a firefighter and a paramedic. After realizing the lack of mental health resources available for current first responders within different New Mexico agencies; Carla pursued her master’s degree in professional counseling at Grand Canyon University.

Carla joined Odyssey Counseling in March of 2023. As a person of color and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community Carla realizes the challenges and difficulties that come with fully embracing diversity and works to ensure that everyone has access to fair, equitable and inclusive treatment.

Carla wants to be a part of your journey of helping you reach your full authentic self. You matter.

Carla provides services to clients seeking resources and a listening ear at Odyssey Counseling as well as first responders seeking to take care of themselves so they can continue fulling serving the public.
